Not the ending so many “Bachelor” fans would choose (or have predicted) but none the less, Jake chooses Vienna and thousands of jaws across America drop in amazement. Completely out of left field (that’s the saying, right? I don’t play baseball) Tenley was the All-American gal. Sweet, dancing, honest, had her heart broken by ex-husband…actually compared to a Disney princess in one episode. She’s pretty and her attitude and spirit caught the eye of Jake’s family when he brought her home to them.
Vienna’s trip to meet the Pavelkas was not a surprise and Jake’s “warning” of her didn’t help the first impression with the family. They judged her (mom and sisters-in-law) and then came back to say how they were wrong and shouldn’t have. That takes a lot to admit on national t.v.
Anyway, I was in shock at his final choice to propose to Vienna and think it’s going to be one of the matches that doesn’t stick forever. Trista and Ryan? They’re running around with kids (at least one that I know of) Even Jason and Molly (from just last season!) were married this past week. *I thought the rainbow at the wedding was: A) not a special video affect added later B) perfect for the ceremony while Jason Castro appropriately serenaded the couple with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”
In the end, Vienna is still Vienna but she won the boy’s heart. Jake is still hot and I look forward to seeing him on this season’s “Dancing With the Stars”. (premieres Mon, March 22) Jeff the host has a really cool gig and I wonder if he gets all the anxious lovers mixed up from season to season. Surely he does. And me? Well, I think I may just try out for an upcoming season. Because if I fall in love–well, then, I fall in love! And if I get kicked off (or don’t find love) according to trends, it will open so many doors for career opps. Just saying. Either way, it could be a blissful finale for me, too!
